Good afternoon! We currently have 5 days to make-up due to inclement weather. Within the current school calendar we will make up 3 of those days by attending school on February 19, March 15, and March 29. In an effort to avoid adding school days onto the end of the school year we will be adding 20 minutes to the school day beginning Monday, February 19, and running through Friday, May 24. School will start 10 minutes earlier and dismiss 10 minutes later than the current schedule. Bus pickup times will remain the same in the mornings. The afternoon car pick up will be approximately 10 minutes later.
By extending the school day we will be able to keep May 24 as the last day of school assuming no additional days are missed. It will also allow us to dismiss school on April 8 (Eclipse Day) upon the recommendation of local and state emergency services.
Thank you for your cooperation and working with us to make this adjustment to our school calendar.
